Welcome to Our Favourite Products, a monthly feature of the products keeping our skin glowing, mood lifted and health high. It's a combination of the new things we've tried over the previous month and historic repeat purchases that we think you might love too. And at a time when the whole planet is stressed, a self-care regimen can be more essential than ever. And as part of our editorial policy, every product we write about is vegan, cruelty-free and 100% natural and where possible organic. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the idea of incorporating clean beauty and wellness products into your daily routine, or even finding them, we hope you find the following helpful. And as a reminder, a constant favourite of mine — clean filtered water. Drink it frequently, daily. Here's what I'm loving this month:

Salt by Hendrix

I've always had dry skin on my legs. Eczema has also been a lifelong struggle of mine, so I have a lot of scars. So last year when I visited Rarotonga with my boyfriend I bought a bottle of Blush Skies. This body oil is loaded with vitamin E and fatty acids. Body Glow is a fast-absorbing oil that delivers hydration and vibrancy to my skin — and confidence.

Loco Love Butter Caramel Pecan

Quality chocolate is one of my favourite things on earth. Handcrafted with organic superfoods, botanical herbs and stress modulating adaptogens, connecting to the cosmos has never been easier with Loco Love. Challenging to locate here in New Zealand but managed to find some in a health store in Melbourne recently.

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro™ Whipped Cream

With frequent exfoliation and clay masks — Mario Basescu Silver Powder and Aztec Secret are both good options, hydration is vital. I have super acne-prone skin on my jawline, and that said, what I love about Whipped Cream is how rich it is — this super-rich moisturiser delivers six rare African oils and ceramides, yet doesn't clog my pores. Previously I would re-apply moisturiser during the day, but I have been using this for two weeks now, and my skin feels hydrated and looks clean. And if you're not sure about committing to the 50ml, you can purchase this in 15ml. That is what I did.

Go-To Face Hero

Already a fan of the brand's Transforming Treatment Mask, I purchased Face Hero after ready through all the VERY positive reviews on Mecca. I love this treatment oil that delivers an exhaustive list of healing oils — nine of them to instantly illuminates tired skin. In the AM, I mix a few drops with my tinted SPF for an instant glow.

Aesop Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste

This lactic acid and fine quartz exfoliant paste is my favourite exfoliator to date. I'm using this three times per week, and it has cleared up SO many of my acne scars. Layer by layer, I feel like I am making progress, my pores are less visible, and my skin is definitely more even. It feels clean.
