Lagom operates under the following ethics and editorial policy.
Lagom is primarily an editorial endeavour. We do not intend to and do not run ads on our website. We also do not produce sponsored advertorial content. Featured designers, labels, people or brands are only included in editorial content if there is value alignment with our intent to share insights and inspire people through carefully curated, original content focused on the core messages of the slow movement, and minimalism.
AFFILIATE LINKS
On occasion, we use affiliate links which means we may earn a commission from the website linked to - if you purchase via the link. The price you pay is unaffected by whether you click through from thisislagom.com (i.e., on an affiliate link), or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link. We only use an affiliate link on items we use and would include in the editorial regardless, and often do.
Affiliate partnerships are an essential part of Lagom which enable us to create high quality, useful content pieces that add value to people’s lives. Nobody can pay or provide other incentives to be featured in our editorial content. Working with our affiliate partners in no way impacts our decision with regards to future coverage.
Our affiliate partnerships are driven purely by our desire to work with a designer, label, person or brand. However, on occasion where Lagom collaborates with a designer, label, person or brand to license content, or to bring you a unique piece of content – and where Lagom does get paid by the affiliate partner as part of the content creation process, we will always tell you.

From time to time, Lagom will feature giveaways for readers on thisislagom.com. We will post rules for each contest which will be binding on contestants who decide to participate. Nobody can pay or provide other incentives to be featured in our giveaways.
PERSONAL CONFLICT
Lagom contributors that have a close relationship with any person who is the owner of, contractor to or employee of a designer, label, or brand featured on Lagom will disclose the relationship within the article.
